- I have a reluctant reader who has fallen in love with the series. He came home from school today and patiently waited for the mailman to drop off the new book. Since then he has already read it cover to cover twice and is working on the third round. It’s hard to get him to read anything at all. He said the new book was really good (which is about as much of a conversation you’ll get from a ten year old) and is already asking for a countdown for the next one.
I highly recommend this series for reluctant readers. The illustrations captivate and draw them into the story, and the stories themselves are rememerable. - My son, who is 9, loves this series. He can’t wait for more to come out! Getting him to read has not been a fight anymore. The pictures are well done and the writing and story line are great to keep his attention. If you child likes fantasy/adventure type books, I strongly recommend this one.
- My 10 and 8 year old children love this series of books! I have even read a couple they have an adventure story line!

- This series is great for encouraging a child to read. Each book ends with comprehension questions so this also helps to guide a young child who is learning to read.
